Why does simply rinsing with water
not solve the biofilm problem?
In animal production, microbiological hazards can persist not only on surfaces but also within the building's airspace, hard-to-reach zones, crevices, equipment components, and in biofilms developing on technological surfaces. Standard cleaning often does not cover the entire volume and areas beyond the reach of manual application. EHT disinfection utilising ClO₂ technology and ULV fogging supports effective microbiology control in livestock facilities and biosecurity zones.
Why is standard disinfection not always sufficient?
In production environments, microorganisms can develop:
- in biofilm,
- technological systems,
- CIP area,
- in structural gaps,
- and in hard-to-reach areas for standard cleaning.
Surface disinfection often eliminates only the visible problem, without removing the source of microbiological contamination.
The EHT technology, based on ClO₂ and ULV fogging, effectively covers both surfaces and production spaces in the disinfection process, reducing the risk of recontamination.
Standard disinfection
It works mainly on a spot basis and may not cover large volumes, gaps, structural elements, hard-to-reach zones, and areas outside the reach of manual application.
Disinfection
EHT
It uses ClO₂ technology and ULV fogging, enabling uniform disinfection of surfaces, equipment, large volumes, and biosecurity zones.
Every industry faces different challenges. We tailor our solutions accordingly.
Breeding sheds and coops
Large volumes, work surfaces and livestock facility spaces require disinfection to minimise the risk of spreading viruses, bacteria and other pathogens.
Biosecurity zones
Sanitary locks, technological entrances, personnel passages and high-risk areas require effective microbiology control to support the safety of the entire farm.
Technological surfaces and equipment
Production lines, farm equipment, conveyors, containers, and work surfaces can be places where microorganisms and surface biofilm are maintained.
Difficult-to-access spaces
Gaps, structural elements, enclosed spaces, and areas beyond manual application reach require technology that achieves whole-space disinfection of the object.
Disinfection of hatching eggs
ULV fogging using ClO₂ can support even coverage of egg surfaces by the disinfection process and reduce the risk of transferring microorganisms in the hatching environment.
Poultry facilities and production farms
In poultry production, microbiological control of spaces, equipment, and transition zones is crucial for biosecurity and limiting the risk of infectious diseases.
High biological risk zones
Areas exposed to pathogens such as Avian Influenza, ASF, Salmonella or E. coli require a process tailored to the level of the threat and the specific characteristics of the farm.
What are the benefits of EHT technology?
Higher biosecurity level: EHT disinfection supports the reduction of microbiological hazards in breeding halls, poultry houses, transition zones, and high-risk areas.
Reduced risk of secondary infections: The process helps to reduce microorganisms present on surfaces, equipment, infrastructure components, and within the facility's space.
Surface and space microbiology control. ULV fogging allows for the even distribution of disinfectant in large volumes and hard-to-reach places.
The possibility of disinfecting large volumes: ULV technology is effective in breeding facilities, chicken coops, and production sites where standard manual application may be insufficient.
Livestock security support Microbiological control helps to limit the risk of spreading viruses, environmental bacteria, and pathogens.
Limiting biofilm on surfaces: Disinfection supports the elimination of biofilms developing on technological surfaces, equipment, and breeding infrastructure components.
Support for disinfection of hatching eggs: ULV technology using ClO₂ can support modern microbiological control of hatching eggs and the hatching environment.
Process tailored to the object: We select the technology, parameters and application method according to the type of cultivation, size of the facility, level of biological risk and biosecurity requirements.
Modern ULV and ClO₂ technologies: The combination of ULV misting with ClO₂ technology supports effective disinfection of surfaces, spaces, equipment, and biosecurity zones.
What does the EHT microbiological testing process involve?
Risk and production environment analysis
We assess the level of microbiological hazards, critical areas and places with increased risk of biofilm development.
Selection of technology and process parameters
We design a disinfection process tailored to the type of installation, the nature of production, and the operational requirements of the plant.
Disinfection process implementation
We carry out professional disinfection of surfaces and spaces using ClO₂ and ULV technology.
Effectiveness check and recommendations
We are verifying the effectiveness of the process and preparing recommendations to support the maintenance of high production hygiene standards.
Disinfection is a reaction.
Microbiological control is a strategy.
Disinfection as an emergency measure
Implemented in case of:
- detection of contamination,
- quality problems,
- recurrence of micro-organisms,
- the need for rapid production safeguarding.
The aim of the process is to mitigate the threat and restore safe production conditions.
Preventative disinfection
Implemented in case of:
- detection of contamination,
- quality problems,
- recurrence of micro-organisms,
- the need for rapid production safeguarding.
The aim of the process is to mitigate the threat and restore safe production conditions.
Modern disinfection is not just about reacting. It's about building an environment where microbiological threats have limited opportunities to develop.

FAQ
You most often ask
Why is the disinfection of livestock facilities important?
In animal production, microbiological hazards can persist on surfaces, in the facility's air, crevices, equipment, and in surface biofilms. This can affect herd safety and biosecurity levels.
Which areas can be disinfected?
The process may include breeding halls, chicken coops, biosecurity zones, sanitary airlocks, technological entrances, work surfaces, conveyors, containers, and farm equipment.
Can EHT disinfection cover large volumes?
Fogging using ULV allows for the even distribution of disinfectant in large farm buildings, chicken coops, and hard-to-reach areas.
What biological hazards are particularly significant in animal production?
The main threats include avian influenza, ASF, Salmonella, E. coli, environmental viruses and bacteria, and biofilm on technological surfaces.
Can EHT technology support the disinfection of hatching eggs?
Yes. ULV fogging using ClO₂ can support even coverage of the eggs by the disinfection process and limit the risk of transmitting microorganisms in the hatching environment.
